Typical third culture kid. Born and raised in the Gulf to Hungarian and Egyptian parents.

THE recipe for an identity crisis.

Why writing? Not sure.

But I think I was inspired to write my first poem by the age of 9. It wasn’t half bad, to be honest.

I was the introverted kid that didn’t enjoy talking or playing dodgeball as much as she liked reading about WWII (and Captain Underpants) in the library.

I guess the the darkness of Hitler’s actions and the ridiculousness of Captain Underpants all instigated a love for copy.

To be honest, I wasn’t planning on writing at all. I always wanted to be a singer.

But one of my college professors forced me to get into advertising, setting me up in interviews.

So, I gave in and did both. You can call me a singing writer.

I’m currently freelancing, and I’ve never been happier.

I’ve held a variety of professional writing positions in advertising, marketing, and the entertainment industry, where I’ve delivered everything from social copy to business features.

In addition, I have creative endeavors related to music, voice overs and social media content creation.

I’m based in Cairo, but can easily work on brands that are international.
